Our September Course starts on Wednesday 19th September 2007 and is
‘Cathedrals and Cathedral Cities’, the tutor being Peter Colborn. The
aim of the course is to combine a history of each city with the architecture
of its cathedral. Places covered will be St. Albans, Durham, Lincoln,
Canterbury, York, Ely, Winchester, Salisbury, Wells and London. We are
once again starting an evening course on a Monday evening. Our first
6 week course will start on 1st October 2007. Our tutor is Gill Farrington,

popular. The subject is called “Chocolate tales”. Each week students
will discuss aspects of one modern novel. The books are linked by their
underlying themes of chocolate. James Runcie The discovery of chocolate.
