BUNTINGFORD TWINNING ASSOCIATION

Buntingford Twinning Association have just paid host to a party of 12 children and 9 adults from their twin town of Olvega in Spain.

They enjoyed three days out by coach to Cambridge, London and Southend and on the day spent with the host families, most of the Spanish adults visited Wimpole Hall whilst the children enjoyed a picnic in Hatfield Forest.

For their final evening, everyone came together for a party at The Bury (Sainsbury's) where they enjoyed a chilli meal and dancing.

The next event in 2009 is the visit to Olvega in Spain July 22nd-26th.
Most of us will fly to Zaragoza and the itinerary includes a trip to the picturesque Black Lake near Soria, a day trip to the town of Tudela and the chance to explore a medieval market.
There is room for more people to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity and we would especially welcome some younger people, not only families but also students because so many Spanish students are keen to meet English twinners of the same age .

Twinning is open to anyone from Buntingford and the surrounding district and. does not necessitate hosting for the return visits unless you want to.

Our next fund raising evening will be on Sept 12th when we are planning a medieval meal at The Benson Hall
