A small group of French twinners have just returned to Luynes after their visit to Buntingford.

On the first day they went to Hitchin and enjoyed the British School Museum and a wonderful lunch at The Highlander.

Later there was an informal boules evening at The Fox in Aspenden.

Visits were also arranged to Wimpole hall and London where some Buntingford twinners went with them for a boat trip along part of the Thames to the Greenwich observatory.

The communal soiree was held at the Bowls club and we introduced our guests to the game of "Beetle" and a sing-song.

2012 will see the association promoting twinning to the younger people of the area. Twinning is a good way of making friends, practising the languages and enjoying the different cultures and we hope to soon have some new young faces involved..
